REMEMBER TO VOTE FOR REPUBLICAN JUDGES!  **  Creed, Jr.  **   Edmunds  **  Farlow   **   McCullough  **  Quist  **  Wilkins  **  Vote for District Attorney Krueger

This pretty much puts things in their proper perspective!

Subject: John McCain

Barack Obama has put out an ad that simple minded John McCain cannot use a computer.

Well guess what; Barack cannot land a jet plane on an aircraft carrier at night.

The Bill has been passed to help both Wall Street and Main Street.

Pic image of the U.S. Congress in Washington where the House is considering the economic recovery or bailout bill next to a graphic of the Wall Street sign.

Now the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives have both approved the Bailout Bill.

The Senate has started debating ahead of this evening's vote on a financial bailout bill, with John McCain and Barack Obama each on hand to vote. The core of the bill is the Bush administration's plan to buy troubled assets from banks, but it includes a number of new provisions aimed at Main Street, CNNMoney.com reports.

It appears that Congress has, for once, put politics aside and has DONE THE RIGHT THING.  History is being made that will be discussed by our grandchildren.

Let us hope that this will be the assistance that Wall Street and, more importantly, Main Street needs.

Palin/Biden Debate

Biden, Palin attack and counterattack

Let us know at contact@mrwnc.org what you thought happened, and weigh in afterward on how you think our Sarah Palin fared!

Thanks to Norma for this:

Interesting point of view.  It's a long article relating how little experience democrat candidates have had when nominated for vice-president and president. (From 1802).  The following is the conclusion.

The Times got it right once. It wrote: "Where is it written that only senators are qualified to become President?...Or where is it written that mere representatives aren't qualified, like Geraldine Ferraro of Queens?...Where is it written that governors and mayors...are too local, too provincial?...Presidential candidates have always chosen their running mates for reasons of practical demography, not idealized democracy...What a splendid system, we say to ourselves, that takes little-known men, tests them in high office and permits them to grow into statesmen...Why shouldn't a little known woman have the same opportunity to grow?"

I quite agree. If only the Times had written that in 2008 rather than in 1984.

Can you invest 10 days of your life to make history?

McCain-Palin 2008 is looking for volunteers who are willing to spend the final ten days of the campaign helping in a nearby state. Deployed volunteers will take an active role and participate in a number of Get-Out-The-Vote activities. These activities will include making phone calls, going door to door, recruiting volunteers, and assisting with additional campaign activities and operations.

These ten days will be unpaid and participants will be responsible for arranging their own transportation and housing. Unfortunately, the campaign is unable to reimburse any expenses.

If you can afford the time and expense to serve from October 25th through November 4th please reply to this email with your resume, if available, and your contact information, including city, state and phone number. Please send to Volunteer2@JohnMcCain.com or reply to this email.

Kay Bailey Hutchison and former EPA Administrator Christine Todd Whitman.
