This
pretty much puts things in their proper perspective!
Subject: John McCain
Barack Obama has put out an ad that simple minded John McCain cannot use a
computer.
Well guess what;
Barack cannot land a jet
plane on an aircraft carrier at night.
The Bill has been passed to help both Wall Street and Main Street.
The Senate has started debating ahead of this evening's vote on a financial bailout bill, with John McCain and Barack Obama each on hand to vote. The core of the bill is the Bush administration's plan to buy troubled assets from banks, but it includes a number of new provisions aimed at Main Street, CNNMoney.com reports.
It appears that Congress has, for once, put politics aside and has DONE THE RIGHT THING. History is being made that will be discussed by our grandchildren.
Let us hope that this will be the assistance that Wall Street and, more importantly, Main Street needs.

Thanks to Norma for this:
Interesting point of view. It's a long article relating how little experience democrat candidates have had when nominated for vice-president and president. (From 1802). The following is the conclusion.
The Times got it right once. It wrote: "Where is it written that only senators are qualified to become President?...Or where is it written that mere representatives aren't qualified, like Geraldine Ferraro of Queens?...Where is it written that governors and mayors...are too local, too provincial?...Presidential candidates have always chosen their running mates for reasons of practical demography, not idealized democracy...What a splendid system, we say to ourselves, that takes little-known men, tests them in high office and permits them to grow into statesmen...Why shouldn't a little known woman have the same opportunity to grow?"
I quite agree. If only the Times had written that in 2008 rather than in 1984.
